SEEKING ASYLUM bears witness to the endless deterrents migrants face when petitioning for asylum in the United States. In a dismantled system that has been designed for failure, follow one woman’s journey as she searches for protection for her and kids.
This film shines a light on the difficulties many asylum seekers we work with at the Young Center and showcases why it is necessary that we continue to fight for those seeking asylum in the U.S. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s creators and others. A reception will follow the discussion.
Please note space is limited and reservations are required. You can sign up here for the Lincoln Center premiere.
The film is also available for streaming on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, VUDU, and Kanopy.
